We had a major cement project for our home. First part was a 12 by 50 foot 6 inch deep slab with footings for a wing added to our barn, the second was having 14 cement trucks putting in over 8100 sq feet of rebar reinforced cement 6 inch deep for our driveway, yes our driveway. The prep work was amazing. His crews all working like a great team getting the job done and DONE RIGHT. My wife was really happy with the finish work. We had a drive done at our old house with a different vendor and it was fair quality. You get what you pay for. This was one heck of a cement job at our new house and it was DONE RIGHT. If you’re looking for a concrete contractor who shows up, does exactly what they promise, and somehow leaves your property looking better than when they started, let me introduce you to J&A Premium Concrete. We recently had over 4,000 square feet of driveway replaced (yes… FOUR thousand… basically a NBA basketball court 😄), and working with Francisco, Irma, and their crew was easily one of the best contractor experiences we’ve ever had. Here are some of the things that stood out to us the most: 1. From day one: Professional and Organized From the very first site walk-through, Francisco was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and straightforward. He took the time to walk the entire project with us, answer questions, and explain exactly what would happen during each phase. Shortly after, Irma — who is amazing — sent over a clear, detailed, and fair estimate. No vague line items, no confusing language, just a thorough proposal that made it easy to understand the scope of work and costs. What impressed us right away was how responsive and organized they were. Emails and calls were returned quickly, scheduling was coordinated clearly, and we always knew what the next step was. 2. They worked around our crazy timeline Our project had a very tight timeline because it had to happen right alongside a sewer main replacement and before Colorado decided to switch into winter mode. Francisco and Irma worked with us to make it happen. They coordinated scheduling, adjusted where needed, and kept everything moving smoothly. If you’ve ever managed multiple contractors at once, you know how rare that level of flexibility and communication is. 3. The most meticulous site prep & clean-up we've ever seen This might be the part that surprised us the most. The crew’s site preparation and cleanup were unbelievably thorough. They didn’t just show up and pour concrete — they treated our property with real care. They carefully: - Taped off and protected adjacent brickwork - Covered surrounding areas to prevent splatter - Maintained a clean, organized job site - Raked and fluffed up mulch afterward - Hosed down nearby grass and landscaping When they were done, it honestly looked like the property had been “left better than they found it.” That level of attention to detail is rare in the trades, and it did not go unnoticed. 4. The Driveway Performance (After a weird Colorado winter) We had the driveway installed in October, so it immediately faced the real test: a Colorado winter. Freeze-thaw cycles? Check. Snow and ice? Some, but yup. Heavy vehicles? Of course. And the driveway has performed beautifully. The finish still looks fantastic and the surface has held up exactly as promised. 5. Great Work — And Great People Beyond the quality of the work, Francisco is just a genuinely great human being. He clearly cares about doing the job right and about treating customers with respect. His crew was hardworking, skilled, and professional throughout the project. I particularly appreciated how Francisco and the guys, intentionally thought about where control and expansion joints went AND which way the broomed finish should go. Taking their time to plan it out and think it through. Working with Francisco, Irma, and the team at J&A Premium Concrete made what could have been a stressful large-scale project surprisingly smooth and enjoyable. Final Verdict.... If you need concrete work in the Denver metro area, I cannot recommend J&A Premium Concrete highly enough. Professional. Organized. Meticulous. Honest. Incredible company! They did an amazing job at adding a front patio to our house and a sidewalk and step. So professional, and truly worked to diligently the whole time to get it done. We used J&A Premium Concrete Construction for a patio project this week. Francisco and his crew removed the existing concrete and replaced with a new extended patio and step.  We are very pleased with the workmanship and quality!! Francisco provided us with an accurate estimate and communicated quickly with any questions we had and scheduling. Straight forward bid, and explanation of quality construction methods. Timely scheduling, and polite respectful crew! It was immediately apparent during installation and upon completion that our patio was better quality than some  cheap substandard driveways going in around my neighborhood.  Francisco's attractive and fair bid sounded like the biggest BANG for our INVESTMENT buck, and it sure was! Don't be fooled by lower prices, and if you're on a budget, you won't be able to top the quality delivered by this team. Francisco and his crew did an excellent job replacing our concrete walkway. He had some suggestions for drainage, for sprucing up the concrete, and for expanding the lower step to our house, all of which improved the walkway (I will know more about the drainage after we get some more rain and some snow). Francisco just finished putting in a new driveway and front stoop for me .  From the very beginning he was so professional with his communication as to what was needed to complete the job and what would be the cost ! Emailed me pictures as to his plan and then emailed me pictures of the final results.  We were not at the property while the job was being done so communication was most important!  I would highly recommend Francisco for any concrete projects 👍
